I'm gonna have to buy a gold subscription, as i'm running on silver at the moment.

I tried redeeming the beta code on xbox.com and it didn't work :/ (it does state to redeem it through the actually console though, we'll see)
I've got the feeling that the ACB (lets call it ACB) MP will be disappointing. Especially if the combat is anything like the combat in the first 2 games. Its not a bad combat system but it dosnt seem tobe geared towards PvP. I dunno, i guess we'll see what they've done with it.
I'd imagine it'll become throwing knife city in a competitive death match.
You're right, thinking about it the controls really aren't suited for PvP. I think they'll need to shorten the counter attack window in melee fighting, or else it'll be counter after counter...and the person with the biggest weapon will always come out on top
