Mington, what did I just watch? Was it porn? Sheep porn? I don't know why, but if that turns into a game...I want to play it!
/runs into thread, clearly out of breath
Did someone say something about sheep porn?
The official site (although in Japanese) goes live in a few days, i'll have to remember to check back
The 2D animation is made by Studio 4C who made Tekkon Kinkreet

Aw I really didn't like Tekonkinkreet when I saw it a while back. I was a bit behind on the ol anime front a year or so a go so I went on a bit of a modern anime binge, saw that, Paprika, The Shinkai Collection, Origin Spirits Of The Past and The Girl Who Leapt Through time.
I thoroughly enjoyed Paprika, also cheap on Amazon right now and can't recommend The Girl Who Leapt Through Time highly enough. Don't be put off by the subject matter, its excellent.
as an aside this was my review of Tekonkinkreet:
"Being a long time anime fan I found it difficult to reconcile the glowing reviews I had heard with what I saw of this dvd. The pacing of the story is very odd, neither satisfying in depth of character or rattling along at the kind of pace you'd expect from something affiliated with the Animatrix.
For viewers lured to this by the promise of cutting edge animation I'd like to urge - look elsewhere. I'm not a complete snob when it comes to animation and still revel in watching classics such as Ninja Scroll and My Neighbour Totoro. My point being, animation does not need to be bleeding edge for it to be thoroughly enjoyable. This, however, was wholly unsatisfying, the useage of 3d seemed awkward at best and decidedly low-tech at worst. The character's art-style was nice and had a vaguely European flavour to it. Sadly they didn't have the fluidity of movement that their decidedly curvy forms suggested.
There are a couple of really striking scenes, one which involves very little graphic violence but still comes across as incredibly unsettling. Sadly there is not much else that is emotionally involving, nor is there anything to get your blood pumping. "
A fairly decent look at the game, for anyone interested: http://ps3.rpgsite.net/previews/253/240/catherine-first-impressions.html
