Is there a mobile version of VG247, or an Android app?
The site works okay on a mobile but something like the eurogamer mobile site is much easier to navigate and faster loading..

You can whistle for it ;)
Developing a mobile site/app costs monies
Perhaps behind the scenes VG247 are planning a giant overhaul (although i don't think you need it baby, i love you just the way you are) adding a plethora of community based function with the inclusion of the illusive ignore button....
Lolz, and Pat is Santa Clause
Just except VG for what she is, the Tiny Tim of the gaming website world, small, adorable and slightly lame.

(Thats Eurogamer in the top hat)
@Gadzooks!
Are you using an App to access EG or does it now sport a mobile version of the site as standard? (There are iPhone and Android apps for EG).
I guess it depends on what they use for the back end of VG247 - I thought it was Wordpress/modified Wordpress. Some backend stuff does the mobile site well automatically and is just a switch to enable. Though I guess the issue is also advertising hits - which is what funds the site.
Pat's mentioned once or twice on Twitter about an app, although nothing concrete is being planned as far as I know.
Actually, I have a self-made VG247 app on my iPhone, although really consists of a bookmark via Safari, a picture of the logo and name on the front screen, and is actually one of the four main apps on my phone.
I only have two bookmarks in my ipod, hotmail and VG247
i like to keep it real
@DrDamn
Not tried the EG app yet, just the eurogamer.net/m address. Will try the app though.
@mington
Didnt mean to sound like 'wah wah gief mobilesite or i am cry', just curious if there was a more mobile friendly way to view. :)
I know, sorry, i just slipped into my ott obnoxious internets persona for a minute there.
A news feed app with comment poster would be dreamy, in a copy n paste of Kotakus mobile site style
