I disagree, the punishment didn't fit the crime so to speak. I've been following formula 1 since the mid eighties, the stewards took far too long. If they'd have made the decision in say 3 or 4 laps that would have been enough, not 20.

I think the SC rules are always a bit strange - some benefit greatly from it, others lose out. I think it needs to be tightened up. However Alonso should be complaining about the rules not Hamilton. It's his reaction both in race and after it that is childish. He sat back in mid positions brooding over what could have been and ended up ninth after being overtaken on the last lap by Kobiyashi. If he'd taken the hit and battled hard for the rest of the race and complained about the rules rather than Hamilton I'd have more time for him.Posted 2 years ago #
