The dev's been shut down, but I believe there's still tech/community support for it. Once upon a time, people were calling this the next big thing in multiplayer. Worth the hype?

Twas great but I and many others left it with the 1.3 patch as for whatever reason there was suddenly loads of host disconnections etc.
Was great in its prime though, one of my favorite MP games ever. I might try getting back into it sometime. It does have a small following still, and rightly so.
Despite the mediocre reviews, anyone who sank a few hours into it could see it was brilliant.

Agreed. It was a very good game with a lot of depth and a great engine. I think it lacked a little in game modes and maps for a full release priced title, and I think that was a large part of the poor reviews it got. That and as DUFFKING mentions it did require you to sink a few hours in to see the light. Many happy memories, plus it had an achievement based on tea bagging!
