I think the most common reason people don't get an authentic tasting homemade curry is because they don't dry roast the spice mix before adding other ingredients.

AMD released financial report today - it's miserable, but that's not what's important. Interesting part of that is their plans for the forseeable future - to take advantage of adjacent markets:

Among those "adjacent markets" are servers, semi-custom silicon, the embedded space, and ultra-low-power client offerings. (Yes, that includes hardware inside consoles like Nintendo's new Wii U.) AMD has already scored "strong design wins" for embedded and semi-custom APUs, Read said, and products based on them are due out later this year. Overall, the company plans to derive 20% of its revenue from these adjacent markets by the fourth quarter of 2013, and it hopes the figure will eventually increase to 40-50%.

Key phrases here are: "strong design wins", "semi-custom APUs", "products based on them are due out later this year" and "to derive 20% of its revenue from these adjacent markets by the fourth quarter of 2013".

To me it sounds a lot like they are talking about next-gen consoles. After all rumours so far suggested that AMD will be hardware supplier for both Sony and MS. What's more, both X720 and PS4 should have highly integrated components, ie. APU's.

What do you think?
