The first time I played my first Rayman game(Atari Jaguar for me). And Speaking of the Jag, how about Aliens Vs Preditor? There are more then a few moments in gaming that made me think "Wow".</p> <p>I have a very hard time believing any of those moments are going to pop up when we transition to the next MS/Sony systems. At least graphicly. I have already seen what levels those games will look like on PC. Again, nice. But I can tell you that my common sense is tingling. By that I mean, neither MS nor Sony can release a system so powerful that is blows us all away. Because said simply we won't be able to afford it. Going forward the console biz has to be like Nintendos console biz...that is to sau it can no longer be a loss leader where they make back their investments with years of licensing. They have to be able to sell their system at or very near a profit. Like Nintendo does.</p> <p>That will limit what they can stuff in the box. I expect a Halo 2 to Halo 3 style graphical jump. Anything more will shock me. I don't think there will be much difference between our current games and the first run of launch games on the new systems, graphicly.
