As much as I would love all of this to happen, I just can't see the third party developers putting the time and energy to port something to the Wii U until the sales number for third party games goes up.

Sadly I think the WiiU port has the same chances as the vita port, not that much, i think Levine is not to keen on the idea, maybe he will do something specifically for the WiiU instead of a port of this game.

http://gamingbolt.com/bioshock-infinite-confirmed-for-wii-u-development-begins-after-ps3xbox-360-release

this seems to be old but i havent heard about that yet. is this true or fake?

if true, i will definitley just wait for this version since the wii u really is my fave console atm.

do you guys think other upcoming third party games like dead space 3, lost planet 3, DmC, Tomb Raider, Metal Gear Rising and so on will follow? not at the same time the ps360 versions are coming out but a few months later?

what about a dishonored port? (haven´t touched my 360 version yet. i can imagine some really nice implementations of the touchpad for this one)

All this would help N a lot. i personally don´t care too much about this because i could just buy those games for the ps360 instead, but i´d really prefer to get wii u versions...and for nintendo it would be great to get as much third party support as possible.

before the haters roll in: I THINK NINTENDO IS DOING FINE. EVEN IF THIRD PARTY SUPPORT WONT BE AS GREAT I STILL THINK NINTENDO IS DOING FINE - THERE IS A MARKET FOR THEIR CONSOLE EVEN IF THEY DO NOT GET FULL BLOWN THIRD PARTY SUPPORT - THEY ARE NOT DOOMED - but it certainly wont hurt to get all the good third party games on board.

so...anyone heard similar stuff regarding third party?

[Update: Apparently BioShock Infinite was never announced or even planned for the Wii U to begin with, according to Ken Levine. Furthermore, we hadn't realized that the source article was from early August and was debunked shortly afterwards. So sorry for the confusion.]

oooooooooooppps!!!

too bad. still. i kind of think we will indeed see some delayed ports for wii u.

then that destructoid article goes on like this:

"Word is that development of Wii U port of the game won't be starting until after the PS3/360 version is done. That's nice for the people who want the game but are in no rush to play it, who also plan to buy a Wii U, but never intend to own a PS3/360"

so it is coming- just later...well that´s ok with me. i am grown up (hardcore gaming). i can wait. i would love to see more of the heavy third party hitters coming even if delayed.

(sorry for this mess of a forum post but you get what i mean)
