Comparisons between the Vita and the Wii-U controller are tenuous at best and a good journalist should have known that, and a proper Nintendo geek would have been able to put his analysis in the shitter where it belonged. </p> <p>I do believe Nintendo are once again shooting themselves in the cock by trying to sell on concept again rather than on actual proof of concept.</p> <p>Remember the original pre-release Wii promos? It showed people from a frontal perspective playing games (that didn't exist) of various genres specifically I'm thinking of shooters and sword fighting games which made a lot of us jizz in our pants over the possibilities - games that played like that are still to this day almost non-existent on the system, and the ones that exist don't really work very well. As a Marketing and PR Director, at a games conference and willing to do interviews - especially high profile ones with the likes the BBC - she should have gone into that with a much better idea of what he would be asking.</p> <p>Even if it meant vetting the questions before going on camera, she didn't "sell" the console very well. Besides, he's purely gone there to play down the WiiU and you can tell by the questions he asked.</p> <p>@G1GA, Again, I would agree that the WiiU will have a much harder time of it than the Wii did. But I still think that the package as a whole - WiiU and gamepad - is what sets it apart.
