I found these too:
Genius SW-HF5.1 4000 @63€ http://tinyurl.com/cjvujat
Genius SW-HF5.1 5050 @110€ http://tinyurl.com/84chrxw

The 1st is 100W powerful and the 2nd is 150W.

Another thing that i want to understand is how does a sound system connect to a sound card (on board) like the one that I have. http://tinyurl.com/7s6ckkp

Thank you.

@Bloodscourge Thank you for your help.

The Klipsch ProMedia 5.1 Computer Speaker System is no more available :(

I forgot to mention that my budget is around 100€, more or less. This will be the first time for me to experiment with 5.1 sound systems, because as of today I am using an old 2003s stereo Hi-Fi of 30W.

I'm trying to get the best bang for my buck. Making some more research I found this one: Pioneer S-V41 @79€, Satellites:80W Woofer:50W http://tinyurl.com/c77a4fv

I can't find any review, but I can trust Pioneer, it's a good brand! My only concern is how they'll connect with my computer?

Its going to depend on your budget really. You can go basic or "sky's the limit".

If you're on a budget, go with these.
http://www.logitech.com/en-us/speakers-audio/home-pc-speakers/devices/surround-sound-speaker-z506

If you want some booming sound, go with either of these two.
http://www.logitech.com/en-us/speakers-audio/home-pc-speakers/devices/speaker-system-Z906

http://www.klipsch.com/promedia-5-1-computer-speaker-system

Now, if you want to have awesome sound, and you have room for home theater components then you can do what I do. I run the audio from my sound card to my home theater receiver and do 7.1 through my big speakers (then again, my TV is also my monitor).

I would recommend you stay away from HTIB (Home Theater in a Box) systems as they have very lackluster sound quality. They lack fidelity with highs and lows, and overall just sound tinny or muted. If you have your own place and you want to go for the gusto, get yourself some good tower speakers with a high quality center channel, and then some good bookshelf speakers for your rears. You can very easily go 7.1 as well since most PC games will support whatever audio setup you have is you have a sound card able to process the audio properly.

Here is a quick list of my setup if you are wanting to go the Home Theater route

Denon 2807 Receiver
Two Definitive Technologies BP2006 Towers
One Definitive Technologies CLR2002 Center Chanel
Four Definitive Technologies BP2X Surround Speakers
One Definitive Technologies Supercube II
Panamax m5825 (I think) Power Conditioner
Panasonic tx-p50gt50 TV

@XurrionHun It's indeed a nice sound system but too bad it's out of production. I lean towards the Logitech Z506 because it has better reviews and more functions.

Plus i found a Home Theater LG HT356SD, 5.1 300W power for 90€ http://tinyurl.com/bnzzf2v
Is it possible to connect it to the PC like the Logitech or Creative sound systems? I think it'll be an overkill!
What do you think?

This is what I use:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wbbpN1UEps
http://reviews.logitech.com/7061/234/logitech-x-540-5-1-speaker-system-reviews/reviews.htm
They don't make it any more though so it's not easy to find. I got it about 4 years ago and I still love it, it's amazing. There's a little problem with the volume control now after so long but it's not too bad. I just have to have the volume on max on the controller or it'll skip the volume up and down but it's fine if I just have it on max and turn it down in windows, still sounds great though all speakers are perfect even after so much use.

Hallo there guys, I'm considering buying a 5.1 Surround Sound System for my computer, budget around 70-100€. I don't know much on the subject, what to take in consideration etc.

I'll start with my hardware, I have a custom built pc with an Asus Rampage III formula witch supports up to 7.1 audio systems.

I made a little research and found two candidates:
1)Creative Inspire T6160 5.1 Speakers @65€ (http://tinyurl.com/cv7qlg5)
2)Logitech Surround Sound Speakers Z506 @80€ (http://tinyurl.com/42nyzoa)

Witch one is the best, pros and cons? I'm gonna use the system for gaming and movies, in a 15m² room. Also is there any 7.1 sound system in that price range?

If you have any suggestion don't hesitate to enlighten me. Thank you.

P.S. Later in September I'm gonna buy a new 32" TV and I'll connect my PC via HDMI, I know that with HDMI you can stream audio too, to the TV, but I would like to use the sound system, is it possible? Sorry if I'm sounding too nooby, but I don't know jack! :p
