The great thing about slugs in BC2 was that unlike every other projectile in the game there is no ballistics bullet drop, that basically means that if someone was spotted (and thus wearing the orange traffic cone of doom) no matter how far away they were you just aim a smidge below the base of their traffic cone and you had a pretty good chance of landing a headshot. Oh, and you got marksmen headshot points off slugs too, which was an added bonus. An Assault kit with an 870/slugs kit could lay waste to anything but a chopper thanks to the C4 replacement for the standard noob tube when using all-kit weapons.</p> <p>I'm tempted to leave it right there :p</p> <p>I think like DSB though I have to give an honourable mention to the shotguns of Killing Floor. A nice high level Support Specialist can tear through anything with pretty much any shotty thanks to the insane shot penetration you get at higher levels.</p> <p>Oh, I loved the EMP Shotgun out of Transformers: War For Cybertron in multiplayer. Awesome fun in close quarters :-D</p> <p>3) USAS12 (MW3), The first shotty available and arguably the best. Has range, power and a great mobility. Running the rats nests of the mp maps with this little beauty can be a blast.</p> <p>4) SPAS-12 (BLOPS), My favorite gun of the mp. Mainly because it's range and power wasn't nerfed by putting on a silencer. Quiet, deadly and just a little sexy.</p> <p>5) Dinner Bell (Fallout: New Vegas), This is a unique variant of the hunting shotgun and obtained upon completion of the quest "Bleed me dry". In addition to the gun, you also get to bed its previous owner. A intense woman by the name of Red. Everytime I fire it, I hear her call out "Oh daddy" and smile :-)</p> <p>Please feel free to add your own, theirs plenty more out there :-D </p>
