Or a lot too heavy.</p> <p>I always felt like the critical thing when it came to literature wasn't in making sure you're shown every little detail in the scene - But that the most important things are presented clearly. For me it's always more about progressing the story.</p> <p>What makes reading great to me is filling in all those little blanks that are left out, and building them around the important pieces in those written images. Story, characters, setting, mood.</p> <p>I like thinking that those scenes may look completely different in the heads of any individual reading them - And sometimes I misread something, and the scene turns out completely differently.
