fo0r the rdp method ur OS has to support it (the basic versions of xp, vista, 7 dont). if it does not u can most likely still get it.
google for concurrent rdp patcher and u should be fine after installing the package.

yeah sure.
why not?

u need a dyn-dns account (free) and set up those information in your router.
u do this because ur router recieves different ips from your isp everytime it connects. (normaly routers do this once every 24 hours).
ur router will then login in to the dyndns account which enables u to reach your pc under the same dsn record everytime.
possible domain would be "ivernez-the-pr0nz0r.kicks-ass.net"

now u need to tell ur router it shall redirect tcp-port 3389 to the particular machine u want to use over the net.
you might want to give the pc a static ip then. if the pc gets another ip somewhen u wont reach him, so u make sure the ip wont change.

combined with some wake-on-lan magic ur pc doesnt even need to be turned on for u to connect.

this is for the RDP Protokoll.

if u just want to controll ur pc over the net, u might rather use Teamviewer as its way easier to set up (basically just install it and there u go)

I was wondering if you can setup Remote Desktop over the internet, without using a server?
