Takes a long time because there are an absolute fuck tonne of mods out there and finding the best ones for you is a slow process. The game looks and plays sooooooooo much better once you've got everything in place.</p> <p>One more thing I'd like is an armour texture replacer, not new armours, just new textures for the old armours that are a bit less bulky and basic. </p> <p>Oblivion and Morrowind have been so extensively modded because of the shortfalls of the gamebryo engine, hopefully Skyrim will suffer from those a lot less. Additionally thanks to all the modding that was done bethesda have great real world feedback on what people liked and didn't like about the way Oblivion worked. Like I said a small dev team to mod this game no doubt.
