Would you believe I have only played 3 missions of Reach so far :). I loved the multi though. My favourite genre is shooters so I would be comparing like with like and for me compared to games like UC or Gears KZ2 was no way near them. I hope no one thinks I am trying to give a sneaky swipe at the PS3 as I aint. I am in to my second year on PS3 and am delighted I have both. For me next year I will be looking forward to UC3, R3, Infamous 2 and maybe Socom. I will most deffo rent KZ3 to check it out. I reckon there is the possibility of big improvements been made such as happened with UC2. I suppose most and foremost I was giving my opinion based on the op question. As a shooter fan I just didn't rate it as anything special although I could see the potential beneath that for a really good franchise. Anyway back on topic. I would check out infamous as it is a very good game imo. As someone who prefers shooters I got in to this game and was moving around the city like no ones business very quickly. Far more then resistance. again, doesnt mean r2 feels bad, but kz is the shit i realy like, especialy for the sp! in general a more run and gun approach mp-wise aint bad at all. But the samething could be said for a lot of games. And often it is for games that are exclusive. If we are tossing around over rated exclusive I'd add both Halo and Uncharted. It just depends on how you play the game. Mike didnt give it credit where its due. You did, but stated how the game felt for you and thats the way to go about it. I didnt like Resistance 2 at all for example. I thought Fall of Man was excellent. You, Reask, Love Halo Reach and i think its just OKAY at best. I guess i prefer the heavier, more realistic feel of KZ2 over the light and sluggish feeling of Halo and Resistance. To me, what made KZ2 so great was how immersed i felt with it. You just cant see straight with your crooked eyes. And the game plays amazingly. You just arent good at games so you blame the game itself. I'd get GT5 (although it's not all that, it tears, has framerate issues and shoddy cars, it's still the most comprehensive first-party racer around), Uncharted (great fun, great v.o.), WipEout HD ('nuff said), Demon's Souls (not my bag, but it's very unique), Heavy Rain (looks awesome) and SuperStardust HD (excellent arcade-style schmup). Little Big Planet 1 and 2 - Unlimited value/ a steal for $60. Ractchet and Clank series - relive the greatest platform from last gen in HD Gran Turismo 5 - ....Gran Turismo 5....GT5!...1000 CARS!...moving along.. Heavenly Sword - Goddess of War......again enough said. Warhawk - Online multiplayer thats very addictive. WipEout HD - 1080P 60FPS super sonic racing. What else do you need? Siren: Blood Curse - Awesome graphics, scary as hell, you shit your pants :D Heavy Rain: The best game in its genre and one of the best games you'll play. SingStar - Let loose, funny as hell party game. Buzz Quiz World - Another great party game for the entire family. Demon Souls - Old school style RPG with new modern gameplay feel. inFamous - Simply electrifying. A great game! SOCOM Confrontations - Check it out if you're into military shooters MAG - 256 players online fragfest. Valkyria Chronicles - Very unique Tactical RPG with great art design. Motorstorm series - Crazy off road racing. Very good love this series. Mod Nation Racers - because Mario Kart is for 12 years and N64 is dead. and last but not least PlayStation MOVE - which really gets rid of the need for any other console and makes the PS3 the total package. There's even more exclusives coming next year with 2011 being the best year and time as a PS3 owner. PSN Exclusives: Calling All Cars - Awesome fun game. Rugby with cars. Trust me its fun. Blast factor - Cool twin stick shooter with some neat sixaxis controls. Flow - Very relaxing chill game. Easy and short. (Has trophies now too). Flower - Best game to use sixaxis. Like flow but 10 million times better. Crash Commando - Have kids? Here's their baby sitter. Fun game. Echochrome - Exercise your brain. very cool game. Fat Princess - Good Hustle Kings - Very good Danger Joe - Fucking great! Pain - you'll never get all the trophies....I'm still trying :( but fun :) PixelJunk racers - ok PixelJunk Eden - may throw control in RAGE but will improve your gaming skills PixelJunk Shooters - Very fun game. take your time and enjoy this one.
