Steam Greenlight clocks in 2 million voters, Valve working on the ability to “Greenlight more items”
Steam Greenlight games have been voted on by “roughly” 2 million participants since it launched in August 2012, according to a recent developer group chat on Greenlight.

Trials Evolution: Gold Edition is now available for digital download on PC and is free to try at the moment. The game will also go on sale through Steam May 9 through May 13 for 25% off. The gold Edition of the game includes all of the features included in previous formats, such as the in-game editor, global Leader Boards and multiplayer modes. Download the demo through Steam now.

Gmod developer Olympus Games launched a Kickstarter for its mod library, tracking and creation platform back in April, but we’ve only just stumbled across it. It is not to be confused with Garry Newman’s ‘Garry’s Mod’ tool. Newman has discussed the conflicts and similarities between both platforms with VG247.

As promised earlier this week, the Left 4 Dead 2 Linux beta is live. The beta build allows Linux owners to play the game natively, and comes with the new Extended Mutation System. Those who currently own Left 4 Dead 2 will see the beta in their Steam library, and the complete game comes with authoring tools and the beta Dedicated Server. It also includes updated Windows and Mac clients, so even if you are not running under Linux you can help by testing the Beta. Further information can be found through the link to the L4D Blog.
