A VR Support category is now available listing all the games the service hosts with native Oculus Rift display modes. Check out this Steam search to see compatible titles ahead of your next “booze and carefully not throwing up on my living room carpet” VR party. A consumer version of Oculus Rift is on the way thanks to a hefty cash injection from investors.

Europa Universalis 4: Conquest of Paradise, the first expansion for the title which adds a “completely randomized American continent” along with Colonial and Native American Nations, will be released in January, Paradox Interactive has announced. The expansion will arrive for PC, Mac, and Linux on January 14. To hold you over until its release, you can watch the latest developer video below.

Payday 2 has some free DLC available just in time for Christmas, or whatever holiday you celebrate this time of year. The free heist mission “Charlie Santa” drops on Monday, December 16 through Steam, and contains a custom map offering two ways to get into the vault: drill your way in or track down two key cards. Valve has released a public beta version of SteamOS, its open-sourced Linux-based operating system. According to the firm, it’s best if you have some level of experience with the OS before trying it out.

Total War: Rome 2 content drops next week and it’s called Caesar in Gaul. The downloadable campaign pack brings with it the battle of Alesia, which artfully recreates the engagement in which Caesar finally conquered Gaul. This made the man famous, and infamous, and thus enabling his rise to dictator. In the game, though, players will battle at the hilltop fort of Alesia as it’s under siege, and will have to weather attacks on two fronts: from Vercingetorix’ forces within the fort itself, and from a huge Gallic relief army. Teslagrad lands on Steam for Linux, Mac and PC, Rain Games December 13 and upon that day, you can purchase the game through Teslagrad.com, GOG and Desura. To herald next week’s release, the launch trailer is posted below, introducing the viewer to the Tesla Tower where it’s revealed to the main character of the game that he is the last of his kind, a Teslamancer. Teslagrad will run you $9.99 in North America and €8.99/£6.99 in Europe. Console versions are on the way, with Wii U and PlayStation 3 versions available in 2014.
