Batman: Arkham Origins teaser trailer shows our hero fighting Deathstroke

A teaser for Batman: Arkham Origins has been released, showing a short look at the masked bat fella and Deathstroke going at it like their lives are on the line or something. Watch 12 seconds of kicks, punches, and swordplay below, with the other 29 seconds or so showing logos and a release date. The full trailer is expected to be released on May 20. Batman: Arkham Origins is out worldwide on October 25 on PC, PS3, Wii U, and Xbox 360. The Vita and 3DS title Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate releases alongside the console version.

Destiny for Vita rumour debunked

According to IGN, there was a rumour going around that shared-worlds shooter Destiny was coming to Vita. Answering desperately curious queries, Bungie pointed out calmly that the only proof of the matter – a supposedly leaked bit of promo art – uses an outdated version of the developer’s logo, fairly conclusively marking it as a fake. Destiny has been confirmed for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Xbox 360, and other “next-gen platforms” presumably including what we’re now calling Xbox Infinity. The trademark which sparked the fake, Destiny of Spirits, remains unexplained.

There’s seems to be no stopping the beast that is Tomodachi Collection: New Life on the Media Create charts. Once again, the title was the number one seller in Japan for the week ending May 12. Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon and Animal Crossing: New Leaf continued to be great sellers as well, the former earning life-to-date sales of 691,921 and the later now pushing
over 3.2 million copies across the region.

US PS Store and Plus update, May 14: Jacob Jones, Manhunt, Metro: Last Light

Sony has updated the US end of the PS Store early today, with pre-orders for GRID 2 and Resident Evil: Revelations. Metro: Last Light is now available through PSN, along with Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny and DUST 514. Manhunt is now available as PS2 classic, and Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot Mystery is out on Vita. DLC for Skullgirls, God of War: Ascension, Uprising for Black Ops 2 and the Ranger mode for Metro: Last Light are also on the docket.
