NeverDead gets first DLC “expansion” on February 21
Konami’s will release the first DLC for NeverDead on February 21. The Expansion Pack Volume 1 will bring, according to GamesRadar, “the enlargement of the Asylum and the new Gameplay Challenges accommodated by the change.” No idea what that means considering we haven’t touched it yet, but whatevs. New challenges include Egg Hunt, Fragile Alliance and Onslaught. Also included in the DLC are two new costumes: a dress for main lead Bryce and a Gaga outfit for Nikki.

PlayStation 3 firmware update 4.10 rolling out
A new PlayStation 3 firmware update should hit today, as detailed on the the US PS Blog. The update includes a new terms of service agreement pertaining to the PlayStation Network’s absorption into the broader Sony Entertainment Network, as well as improvements to the console’s browser.

PlayStation Network downloads and transactions back online
A moderator post on the European PlayStation forums – and comments from many relieved users – indicates an error which blocked downloads and transaction lists of paid content has been resolved. The problem struck in the wake of last week’s maintenance and was not universal, but affected most PAL territories, hitting PS Plus users particularly hard.

Uncharted 3 DLC and Jak & Daxter HD land on PSN
Sony has announced an update to Uncharted 3, the Fort Co-Op adventure DLC, is available and will allow players to step into the role of the villain for the first time in the series. It has also announced that the long-awaited Jak and Daxter Collection is now available for download as well.

Dust 514 to support keyboard and mouse
CCP will include support for keyboard and mouse controls for Dust 514, according to a report on Dust514Base. Official confirmation came in a tweet from CCP executive producer Brandon Laurino. The PS3 EVE MMOFPS spin-off launches this year on PSN, although no exact timeline has been given.

Sanctum 2 development underway, due next year
Joystiq reports Coffee Stain Studios is already at work on Sanctum 2, a sequel to its successful indie combining shooter and tower defence mechanics. The follow-up is expected in 2013, on PC, the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade, thanks to a publishing deal with Reverb. If you haven’t checked out the original Sanctum, which sold over 30,000 copies on Steam alone, it’s on sale for $3.39, which when divided by the number of joyful hours it will bring you, is pretty much no money at all.

Gran Turismo 5 patch due February 7
Producer Kazunori Yamauchi has announced via Twitter , as translated by Andriasang, that the next title update for Gran Turismo 5 is due on February 7. No details have emerged regarding the patch, which will likely bring the racer to version 2.04. the PlayStation 3 exclusive launched in November 2010 and has continued to evolve through patches and DLC.
