New Super Luigi U screenshots have been posted over on Siliconera. The shots provide you with a look at some of the various worlds and stage included in the platformer. New Super Luigi U will release as a standalone title on August 25 in the US and on July 26 in Europe. It will land as DLC for New Super Marios Bros. U in both regions on June 20. As DLC it will run you $19.99 and $29.99 as a retail version.

AGB has posted what appears to be concept footage of Gran Turismo 6. You can have a look at it below. GT6 will be released this holiday season on PS3, and “may” hit PS4 in the future. A demo is slated for July.

City Interactive has announced it has changed the name of its sci-fi, arcade-FPS Alien Fear – announced in 2012 – to Alien Rage. The game, which includes all sorts of weapons, firing modes, 21 enemy types and eight different bosses will be shown at E3 this year alongside its RPG Lords of the Fallen. Alien Rage will be available via digital distribution later this year for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. A teaser video is below.

In Ascend: Hand of Kul, formerly known as Ascend: New Gods, the deity you align yourself with will provide your character with specific abilities in which to dispatch of your enemies.The chaotic Goddess of Darkness, the “zealous” God of Light, or the “manipulative” Lord of the Void will each bestow upon the faithful various spells as well as abilities which can enhance your melee damage or reinforce your armor. All is explained in the video below. Developed by Signal Studios, the F2P game is still accepting beta applications.

Dust: An Elysian Tail will be released on Steam next week, according to developers Dean Dodrill and Alex Kain. The game has been available for Xbox Live for quite some time now, but come May 24, PC users will finally be able to play it. Hit up Steam for more information.

Ubisoft has stated that the Wii U version of Ghost Recon Online is still “on hold” as the team’s focus remains on the PC version. However, this doesn’t mean Ubisoft is committed to Nintendo’s Wii U console.

Trion Worlds has laid off as many as 100 employees, according to various sources on the net. Some say the lay-off count is as high as 80% – a percentage Trion states is “grossly exaggerated.”

NIS America has announced Mugen Souls from Compile Heart will release on PSN for PS3 next week in North America. Mugen Souls contains several elements from the Disgaea series, including Disgaea artist Takehito Harada’s character art, as well as a soundtrack by Disgaea composer Tenpei Sato. A price wasn’t listed, and for those unfamiliar with the gameplay, head over to the US PS Blog and read up on it – or for those who have, it will refresh your memory.

Green Man Gaming has added Telltale Games titles to its library for PC and Mac. Most are on sale at present, so hit up the link to purchase games such as Back to the Future, Hector: Badge of Carnage, Jurassic Park: The Game, Poker Night 2, Puzzle Agent, Sam & Max, Tales of Monkey Island, and The Walking Dead.

Men’s Room Mayhem, announced earlier this month for Vita, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Android devices, will release next week on May 21 through the PS Store in the US and on May 22 in Europe. It will be made available worldwide on the App Store, Google Play Store and the Amazon Appstore May 23. On Vita, it will run you £1.99/€2.49/$1.99 and on mobile devices for £0.69/€0.89/$0.99. In more The Last of Us news, the game’s soundtrack is heading to Sony’s Music Unlimited. It will be made available in a “few weeks,” meaning you should probably expect it when the game releases. To get a taste of what to expect, Naughty Dog has released a video featuring Academy Award winner Gustavo Santaolalla who created the soundtrack. It’s the first time the composer has worked on a video game, and you can get an idea of what his process was like below. The Last of Us is out worldwide on June 14.
