UK retailer Morrisons has discounted a bunch of hardware bundles as part of a new in-store hardware deal, including PS3s for £150. Also in the offer is a £150 250Gb Xbox 360, Wii and Mario Kart for £85. There’s more details on the new deals on MCV.

FIFA 12 has stayed at the top of the UK charts for a sixth straight week, eight in total, with Resident Evil: Revelations entering the top ten as a new entry.

BAFTA’s announced it’ll host a Q&A event featuring Mistwalker’s Hironobu Sakaguchi. The Final Fantasy creator will be in London to talk about the western release of the studio’s Wii RPG The Last Story. The game will also be playable to those in attendance at the event.

Nintendo has released a video for Mario Party 9, showing off some of the boss fights, and a sampling of the 80 mini-games included in the Wii title. Mario Party 9 will release in Europe on March 2 and in the US on March 11.

PS Vita sales in Japan continued to decline last week according to Media Create’s weekly sales chart. The system moved 15,219 units, which is 3,142 units less than the prior week, and is the system’s lowest sales period since it launched in the region during December.

Square Enix will select the first beta testers for Dragon Quest X by next week. The first batch of testers will be selected on January 31. If you don’t get accepted – if you live in Japan anyways – you can still make it into further rounds. Applications for the online RPG began back in November of last year, and are still being accepted now.

Dragon Quest X has no date, but will launch on Wii and Wii U with additional support for 3DS. Thanks, Andriasang.

An EB Games Australia representative said a whopping local price tag for the Wii U added to the retailer’s website in December is a placeholder.

Ubisoft has announced the original Prince of Persia is now available for download via Virtual Console on Wii and through eShop on 3DS. It can be yours for £4.50 from the Nintendo 3DS eShop and 800 Points from the Wii Virtual Console.

Nintendo has said it doesn’t plan on releasing a patch to fix a glitch allowing users to bypass part of the Maka Wuhu track with an unintended shortcut in Mario Kart 7.

Nintendo has announced Mario Party 9 will launch in Europe on March 2. The game brings with it new boss fights, 80 mini-games, and Party Adventure mode, where you and three buddies hop into a vehicle together and roam across the board. The new Boss Battle mini-game also allows you and your buddies to best a series of Mario boss characters before finally facing Bowser in the ultimate showdown. Majesco has announced Zumba Fitness has become the fastest-selling franchise “in the company’s history”, with the series moving 6 million units total across two releases.

PS Vita sales showed a drastic decline on Media Create’s weekly sales chart with only 18,361 units moved, a 57% decline over the 42,648 units sold last week. On the software end, Namco’s Super Robot Taise OG Saga Masou Kishin II moved 81,996 units for its debut on PSP.

The Last Story will get a special edition for its European release next month. It’s to come with a steel-cover art book, as well as a seven-track taster of its soundtrack from Nobuo Uematsu and another art booklet, featuring illustrations. There’s shots of the pack below. Nintendo’s released a European-centric trailer of The Last Story ahead of its release in the motherland next month. The footage shows boss fights, normal battles and open world exploratory, as well as a few story scenes from the Mistwalker RPG. The trailer’s below the break, via GoNintendo. Harmonix has announced two tracks from The Edgar Winter Group’s album, They Only Come Out at Night, and two from Korn will be released for Rock Band 3 next week. The tracks are: Free Ride, Frankenstein, Freak on a Leash, and Falling Away from Me. The former tracks from Winter contain keyboard support, with the later containing Pro Guitar/Pro Bass as well. Each track will run you the usual price on PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360 come January 17.
