Donkey Kong Country titles to be removed from European Wii shop next week
Donkey Kong Country titles will no longer be available through the Wii shop in Europe as of next week. According to a message on the shop, as of November 25, the titles Donkey Kong Country, Diddy’s Kong Quest and Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble will be removed from Virtual Console. Best nab it before it’s gone if you haven’t already. Thanks, GoNintendo.

Nintendo US Downloads: Pokédex 3D Pro, Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion demo
Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion has a demo available through Nintendo’s eShop this week as part of the firm’s North American offerings. Ghosts ‘n Goblins out now on 3DS eShop, already beaten
Ghosts ‘n Goblins hits the 3DS Virtual Console today, and to celebrate, Capcom offered to send a shot glass to the first person to beat the notoriously difficult platformer – and really beat it, not the “tricked by Satan” ending. Although it hasn’t yet been verified, it looks like somebody has already managed it, which even with plenty of practice on the NES original is almost incredible.

Ghosts ‘n Goblins headed to 3DS eShop next week
Capcom has found a new home for NES classic Ghost ‘n Goblins, which fell off the Wii Virtual Console in early 2011. The incredibly challenging platformer is on its way to the 3DS eShop for an October 25 release, where it will humble a whole new generation of would-be gamers and probably most of the ones it humbled the first time, too. No details on pricing as yet, but what price can you put on a game that strips you to your underoos every hit? Exactly.

Pilotwings: SNES original available through Club Nintendo
Pilotwings first hit SNES in Europe in 1992, and even today it’s awesome. Niinendo is giving the game away via Club Nintendo from now until October 28th for just 100 coins. So if you have any saved up, this could be a good way to spend them.

Castlevania, Donkey King, and Mega Man 4 out next week on 3DS Virtual Console in Japan
Castlevania, Donkey King, and Mega Man 4 will release in Japan next week for 3DS Virtual Console. Each game will cost ¥500 a piece. Donkey Kong and Mega Man 4 are the original Famicom versions, and Castlevania is the Japanese Famicom Disk System version. The titles have yet to be confirmed for release on 3DS outside of Japan.
