Nintendo of America has announced a 2DS bundle containing your choice of either Pokémon X or Pokémon Y for the holidays. Starting on December 6, the two bundles can be purchased from Target with the game pre-installed on the red 2DS system for $149.99. Toys R Us will offer an exclusive Pokémon Y bundle with a blue Nintendo 2DS system and the game pre-loaded on an SD card for $149.99.

Call of Duty: Ghosts didn’t fare too well at review, but Activison feels that its biggest and most trusted critics are the fans themselves who, according to Eric Hirshberg, are getting along with the new shooter just fine.

Monster Hunter 4 is quite successful, like, 4 million units successful. Capcom’s RPG has been bowling over Japanese critics and the gaming public since it launched back on September 14. We’re still angling for that western release mind you.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf players who use the SpotPass feature will receive a free Tree-Stump Chair for the game from now until December 31. To receive the gift, players will need to head to the in-game Post Office on Main Street and speak with either Pelly or Phyllis. The chair is only available until the end of the month, so if you want the spiffy chair, it’d probably be best to go ahead and download it. Thanks, Nintendo World Report.

Nintendo is likely to miss out on its projected ¥100 billion profit projection for the financial year, according to analysts. In addition, Wedbush Morgan’s Michael Pachter has stressed that he company “steadfastly refuse” to believe that the Wii U is in a tight spot.

Mario & Luigi: Dream Team looks to be getting a 3DS XL, if shot taken of the box by a Walmart employee and a leaked Target ad are any indication. According to both sources of information posted on GameTrailers, the bundle comes with the game pre-installed on the silver/platinum system featuring outlines of the plumbers, and will be released on December 2. The Target ad notes it will run $199.99 and will be available for “special purchase” come 8 AM on December 2.
