Mega Man 4, Rayman Legends Challenges Mode hit North American eShop
Offerings through Nintendo’s North American eShop this week are a bit slim, so we’ll just get right to it. The promised Challenges mode is available for Rayman Legends on Wii U; Mega Man 4 us available through 3DS Virtual Console; SENGOKU has hit Virtual Console on Wii, Crazy Construction is available for 3DS, and Color Commando can be yours on both DSi through DSiWare and on 3DS.

GAME now selling eShop codes
High-street retailer GAME has become the first retailer in Europe to sell Nintendo’s eShop codes online and in stores. The retailer is selling a number of Wii U and 3DS titles through its website, with six Wii U titles ranging from Singstar at £32.99 to Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge and New Super Mario Bros. U for £41.99.

GAME starts selling eShop codes online and in-stores
GAME has announced a partnerships with Nintendo in which eShop codes will be sold through the retailer online and in-store starting today. The agreement will allow GAME to be the exclusive retailer to sell the codes, which will be issued via till receipt for in-store purchases or email when purchased online. Once activated, codes can be entered into the Nintendo eShop through 3DS or Wii U. For customers in the UK, GAME is also offering an extra 25% trade-in value on selected game trade-ins against Nintendo eShop purchases in store.

Nintendo Direct: EarthBound, Pikmin 3, A Link to the Past
Nintendo hosted Nintendo Direct sessions in both North America and Europe today, announcing a new installment in the Mario Party series for 3DS, release dates for Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, the Virtual Console release of Earthbound or Mother 2 if you will, and a 2014 release for Bravely Default: Flying Fairy in the west.

The King of Fighters ’99 listed for western re-release
The King of Fighters ’99 has been listed by the Australian Classification Board, to be published by Nintendo. The classic fighter got a Virtual Console release in Japan in December, but has so far not been announced for a western re-release. It looks like that might change, although somewhat mysteriously, it’s listed for release on DVD rather than Wii U. Wouldn’t be the Board’s first clerical error, though.

Cut the Rope to release on 3DS through Nintendo eShop
Cut the Rope was announced for 3DS during iDEAME Spain this past weekend, according to Nintendo World Report. It will be handled by Abylight, with original developer Zeptolab pubishing it through eShop. It will contain the extra levels added with the PC and Mac versions, various achievements and online leaderboards will also be added. Pricing and a release date were not announced. but GoNintendo was able to get a video of it in action, and it’s below.

Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers, Injustice, Kirby’s Adventure head up Nintendo NA download offerings
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers, Injustice: Gods Among Us, and Kirby’s Adventure are the big ones heading up Nintendo’s download contents this week. Granted, neither titles land until April 16 and April 17, respectively, but at least Nintendo has given you the option to plan ahead. Cloudberry Kingdom being released digitally on multiple platforms this summer
Along with Flashback, Ubisoft has announced will digitally publish Pwnee Studios’ Cloudberry Kingdom. The platformer, which was a successful Kickstarter project back in May 2012, contains with randomly generated levels. This means each one is new and never seen before. The difficulty level can match any need, “from the casual to the hardcore,” and will land on Mac, PC, PS3, Vita, Wii U, and Xbox 360 this summer. A developer diary is below.
