Knytt Underground, created by Nicklas ‘Nifflas’ Nygren, will be released on December 19 through the eShop, according to the game’s publisher, Ripstone. The Wii U port was developed by Mathias Kærlev, and is currently available for Linux, Mac, PC, PlayStation 3 and Vita. The Wii U launch trailer is below.

Nintendo has updated its eShop offerings for North America with The Legend of Zelda : A Link Between Worlds, Mario Party Island Tour, and Super Mario 3DS World launching on the service at midnight on November 22. EDGE for Wii U is available today alongside DLC for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies. Mega Man replaces The Legend of Zelda in the Your Favorite Gaming Friends sale.

North American Wii U owners report mini-game collection Nintendo Land has been removed from the region’s eShop. The quiet removal follows a recent discount which was announced as applicable to both in-store and eShop purchases, making the disappearance quite surprising. Nintendo Land was a pack-in at the Wii U’s launch but has since been replaced by other titles. It presents players with a theme park filled with attractions themed around various Nintendo properties.

DuckTales: Remastered has been patched on all platforms. The update addresses pogo fixes, cutscene skipping, minor stability issues and more. You can find the full list of patch notes on Capcom Unity. DuckTales Remastered is available digitally through eShop, PSN, Steam and XBL. It will be released on disc in North America for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U on November 12 for $19.99 – $5 more than the digital version.

XSEED Games has announced that buxom ninja brawler Senran Kagura Burst will be released on 3DS in North America next week. The Tamsoft and MarvelousAQL developed title combines the first two Senran Kagura games in one package and is an eShop title running you $29.99. A European release date has not been announced, but Marvelous confirmed back in August it would be released in both digital and physical form at some point in the region. The latest trailer is below.

Wii Sports Club has launched, and today, two offerings are available: Bowling and Tennis. Each are being offered individually via the eShop for €9.99/£8.99 each or through a one-day pass for €1.99/£1.79. Other sports activities such as baseball, boxing, and golf will be offered at a later date.

Pikmin 3′s second offering of downloadable content has been announced, featuring four more of that game’s challenging battle stages. The set of four will remix area’s from Pikmin’s campaign into something a little harder and will be available for $1.99 on the eShop. In case you’re not really on board with the idea of more Pikmin, Nintendo will be patching in one of the DLC’s maps free of charge to get you hooked.

Super Mario Bros. 3, the NES classic often cited as the best of the early Mario games, is on its way to the Nintendo eShop for 3DS and Wii U. The much-requested platformer was quietly added to Nintendo of America’s website over the weekend, heralding a Virtual Console launch, but no release date was provided. Super Mario Bros. 3 launched in the west in 1990 and introduced several soon-to-be iconic features like the Tanooki Suit.
