Tomodachi Collection users have found that they can allow two male characters to tie the knot, but the feature doesn’t work with two female characters. As such, it seems Nintendo is now patching out same sex marriage in full.

Tomodachi Collection: New Life was once again the top earner in Japan for the week ending May 5. Last weeks’ number one, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen fell to fourth place. Interestingly enough, there were no new releases for the period, yet sales of all hardware offerings were up over last week. Some not by much, but growth is growth.

The Starship Damrey release date set for North America
The Starship Damrey, which is Kazuya Asano and Takemaru Abiko’s entry in the Guild02 series, will be released through eShop in North America May 16. In the game, players awaken from stasis in space without any knowledge of what’s going on around them, and must start exploring the ship in order to find out. Starship Damrey, along with the other Guild02 titles Bugs vs Tanks! and Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale, will release for 3DS. Thanks, Nintendo Life.

Disney Infinity dev diary discusses creating the Toy Box
Disney Infinity has a new developer diary available in which Avalanche Software talks about the game’s Toy Box Mode and the inspirations behind it. It allows users to use the VR toys to create their own setting and story using the character toys they have purchased. It sounds really fun. Disney Infinity is due in August on 3DS, PS3, Wii, Wii U and Xbox 360.

Mighty Switch Force 2 development complete, moves on to testing phase
Mighty Switch Force 2 development has completed, and the only thing left to do is test the game, according to WayForward. Good news for fans aiming to get their hands on the 3DS title starring Officer Patricia Wagon and Corporal Gendarmor. The duo join Planet Land’s Fire Brigade to prevent Tangent City from burning to the ground, and players will prevent this by solving all sorts of puzzles. Tomodachi Collection: New Life continued its dominance of the Media Create charts this week, moving another 144,903 units. Combined with last week when it moved 404,858 units during its debut, the title has moved 549,761 physical units in Japan.
