Nintendo Downloads NA: classic Kirby titles on sale for Wii U
Nintendo has updated its eShop offerings for North America with a sale on classic Kirby titles. Basically, if you buy two you will get the third free. Shin Megami Tensei 4 gameplay video is 10 minutes in Japanese, but gives you the idea
A video showing 10 minutes of gameplay from Shin Megami Tensei 4 has hit YouTube, and despite the fact it’s Japanese, English speakers should have no problem following along. The latest entry in the franchise is over 50 hours long, a 3DS exclusive, and arrives in North America on July 16.

Summon Night 5 tops Media Create charts, hardware still down in Japan
Summon Night 5 debuted on the Media Create charts at number one in Japan, knocking Tomodachi Collection: New Life off it’s cushy spot for the time being. The Namco title moved 105,511 units on PSP. Hardware was down again this week. You can get both charts below.

Fantasy Life Link! is an enhanced upgrade of Level-5′s town-builder RPG, and it will boost the original game’s connectivity considerably. It’ll be available as a standalone release or a cheap upgrade for existing owners.

Nintendo Direct – Sonic: Lost World exclusive to Wii U, 3DS
Nintendo Direct sessions for North America and Europe contained quite a bit of interesting information on the firm’s upcoming Wii U and 3DS titles for summer. During the event, the biggest take away was when Nintendo president Satoru Iwata announced that the next three Sonic titles to be released from SEGA will be exclusive to Nintendo systems.

Nintendo Direct: tomorrow’s presentation focusing on summer Wii U, 3DS slate
Nintendo will be hosting a Nintendo Direct presentation tomorrow, May 17, to provide updates on upcoming Wii and 3DS titles for summer. The firm will also discuss future Wii U titles for fall and onward in a Nintendo Direct before the start of E3 2013. It will take place in North America at 10am EST and in the UK at 3PM. We’ll tweet anything pertinent as usual, and provide a full report after both presentations finish.

Batman: Arkham Origins teaser trailer shows our hero fighting Deathstroke
A teaser for Batman: Arkham Origins has been released, showing a short look at the masked bat fella and Deathstroke going at it like their lives are on the line or something. Watch 12 seconds of kicks, punches, and swordplay below, with the other 29 seconds or so showing logos and a release date. The full trailer is expected to be released on May 20. Batman: Arkham Origins is out worldwide on October 25 on PC, PS3, Wii U, and Xbox 360. The Vita and 3DS title Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate releases alongside the console version.

Adorable limited edition Pokémon Eevee 3DS XL announced for Japan
An Eevee Edition of 3DS XL has been announced for Japan for release in the Pokémon Centres across he region. It will only be available through a lottery, and applications are being taken now through June 3, according to Serebii. Those who are lucky enough to win the draw, will then be able to purchase the handhled for ¥18,900 ($185) come June 22. Sorry importers willing to spend what would likely be thousands for it on eBay, the system is region locked.

There’s seems to be no stopping the beast that is Tomodachi Collection: New Life on the Media Create charts. Once again, the title was the number one seller in Japan for the week ending May 12. Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon and Animal Crossing: New Leaf continued to be great sellers as well, the former earning life-to-date sales of 691,921 and the later now pushing
over 3.2 million copies across the region.
