Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, showing off some high seas battle, pirate mayhem, and leaping assassins. Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag is out on October on PC, PS3, Wii U, and Xbox 360 and next-gen systems.

Ascend: New Gods has had its name changed to Ascend: Hand of Kul. According to a post over on playXBLA, since the game’s reveal at E3 2012, and the “New Gods are no longer new,” and it’s more fitting to have a game with a title which ties in more to the story. Developed by Signal Studios, the F2P game is still accepting beta applications, and will eventually be released on Xbox 360, and possibly Xbox “Infinity” should the rumors prove true.

During its call to investors last night, EA mentioned more than once it was working on 11 “major titles” slated for release during its fiscal year 2014 which use its Frostbite 3 engine, including Battlefield 4. However, the firm isn’t planning on shipping any Star Wars title in FY14 and none of the releases using the new engine will be for Wii U.
