City Interactive has announced it has changed the name of its sci-fi, arcade-FPS Alien Fear – announced in 2012 – to Alien Rage. The game, which includes all sorts of weapons, firing modes, 21 enemy types and eight different bosses will be shown at E3 this year alongside its RPG Lords of the Fallen. Alien Rage will be available via digital distribution later this year for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. A teaser video is below.

BitComposer Games has announced Thunder Wolves, the arcade-style helicopter-shooter from Most Wanted Entertainment, is now available through Steam for $14.99. The versions for PSN and XBLA will be released “shortly” thereafter. The game contains plenty of action with explosions and destructible environments with nine helicopters with unique arsenals at the player’s disposal. Each of the 13 missions contain elements of either stealth, escorting, or seek-and-destroy. You can also enlist the help of a buddy through local cop-op. Check it out through the link.

A new gameplay walkthrough for Ride to Hell: Route 666 has been released. It talks the viewer through the basic flow of the game, the roles in their gang, and the strategy needed to ensure their leadership is unchallenged. Route 666 is set for release this summer on Steam, XBLA and PSN.

Consider this a friendly reminder that all Battlefield 3 DLC is 50% off from today through May 20 on Xbox Live. The sale was announced last week as part of Microsoft’s “coming soon” update. Battlefield 3: Premium is also on sale for 30% off.

The Twitch App for Xbox 360 will be made available today for Xbox Live Gold subscribers in the US. It will include the top 300 live channels and the ability to browse the directory by top channels, games and featured content. It is also Kinect-enabled, so you can use voice or motion controls. To download, just log into Xbox Live and download it.

Wolfenstein 3D has been re-certified for Xbox 360 and PS3 by the ESRB, and has spawned a new Xbox Live Arcade page with a May 31st release date. Given the recent reveal of Wolfenstein: The New Order, it’s certainly a curious thing.

Minecraft Xbox 360 Update 11, which contains mainly bug fixes and the like, has gone into certification so it should be released sooner rather than later. The issues getting stomped by 4J Studios include explosion lag, messaging problems, spawn limit issue, and reduced Ghast sound volume. You can view the entire changelog over on OXM. Microsoft has announced the upcoming slate of XBL contents, and things kick off today with the demo for Fuse – which is also available on PSN – the Tomb Raider Shipwrecked multiplayer pack, and the addition of Lobo for Injustice: Gods Among Us.
