Minecraft Xbox One: Microsoft now discussing 360 save transfers with studio
Minecraft Xbox One studio 4J Studios is now in talks with Microsoft over the possibility of save transfers between the Xbox 360 game and incoming next-gen edition. Last week it was both confirmed and denied that the saves would work, which confused a lot of people. We’ve got some clarity here.

UK Charts: The Last of Us top, Animal Crossing second
The Last of Us has entered the UK charts at first this week, after receiving a raft of near-perfect scores across the board at review. Twee 3DS sandbox romp Animal Crossing: New Leaf has entered at second place.

Sunset Overdrive’s Xbox One exclusivity due to “quick production cycles”

Wargaming accepting applications for World of Tanks Xbox 360 beta
World of Tanks will be going into beta for Xbox 360, and Wargaming is accepting applications. An Xbox Live Gold account is required to participate in it. The game will be free-to-play with an XBL Gold memberships when it launches this summer, but Silver members will be able to try out a demo to see if it warrants a Gold membership for them. Rivalry between Sony and Microsoft is good for business, says EA
Console wars may be fun for fanboys and girls, and annoying to some; but in all it’s good for the industry, thinks EA’s Peter Moore. So much so, that if Microsoft and Sony weren’t duking it out at retail, there would only be one console powerhouse – which would not be a good thing for EA.
