Namco Bandai has already proved it listens to the PC crowd by porting Dark Souls over, and may just bend an ear to vehement protestations against the unpopular Games for Windows Live.

Microsoft Flight takes off on Steam
Microsoft Flight is now available on Steam. The free to play sim is doing quite well over on Games for Windows Live and at time of writing is already number 32 on Steam’s top 100 player activity charts. Four pieces of DLC are available, ranging from the $6.99 Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero to the $19.99 Hawaiian adventure pack, which includes two planes and, you know – Hawaii. There are a couple of bundles available too.

Age of Empires Online released on Steam
Steam has added Age of Empires Online to the free-to-play section of the store, and to celebrate its release, the game’s Greek, Egyptian and Persian civilizations are 50% off, at $4.99 each. You’ll still need a Games for Windows account in order to play it, but that’s it really. Go wild. Thanks, D’toid.

Microsoft Flight beta applications now being accepted
Applications are currently being accepted for the Microsoft Flight beta. To apply, you must fill out the survey posted through here. There’s also a specs post through here, which lists both the low and high settings. Still no word just yet on when the revamped simulation series will be released.
