Playrise Digital, headed up by ex-WipEout developer Nick Burcombe, has announced its iOS game Table Top Racing has reached one million downloads on the App Store. The large figure was hit yesterday, July 18, and Burcombe said the team is “thrilled” with what its achieved in the first six months of operation. The firm’s next title, Baby Nom Nom is up next, and there are plans to bring Table Top Racing to more platforms this autumn. The game free-to-play game with in-app purchases is available for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.

Layton Brothers Mystery Room has exceed one million downloads worldwide, according to Level-5. The iOS title was released June 27 outside of Japan for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. You can pick it up from the App Store as a free download, with Case File Pack 1 available for $2.99/€2.69/₤1.99 and Case File Pack 2 for $1.99/€1.79/₤1.49.

A report out of the Israeli business rag The Calcalist says that Apple is in the early stages of purchasing PrimeSense, a tech company based out of Tel Aviv that is responsible for the 3D sensors in the current-gen Kinect. The report says the deal would be for $280 million, which the paper acknowledges seems to be a really low number. On the other hand, TechCrunch claims to have a source within PrimeSense who says that report is merely a “delusion.”

If you’ve been diving into The Walking Dead: 400 Days and are looking to experience some more Telltale “action,” as it were, then you’re in luck if you own an iDevice. Right now through tomorrow, July 7, you can get pretty much every episode of every Telltale game (Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, Monkey Island, etc.) for $.99, and standalone games like Poker Night 2 are on sale as well. Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame will release on Android, iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch for £1.99 later this month. The Shadow and the Flame is set after the events of Prince of Persia Classic, and includes an improved combat system with multiple enemies, tactical challenges and a new combo system. It also contains social connectivity, allowing users to unlock achievements, hit the leaderboards or to share scores with Facebook integration. It’s out on July 25.
