King.com has announced the launch of its popular Facebook game Bubble Witch Saga on iOS devices. The game has over 4 million daily active users on the social network, and is the largest non-Zynga game on the platform. Apple Q3 financials: 26 million iPhones and 17 million iPads sold
Apple has released its Q3 earnings report in which the firm posted $35 billion in revenue, compared to $28.57 billion during the same period last year. The firm also reported $8.8 billion in profits, which is $1.5 billion more than Q3 2011. The firm sold 26 million iPhones, which is a 28% increase year-over-year, and the firm sold 17 million iPads – an increase of 84% over Q3 2011. Mac sales it 4 million units, a 2% yoy increase, and iPod sales hit 6.8 million units, a 10% decline compared to Q3 2011. Thanks, VentureBeat.

The Walking Dead releases on iOS devices July 26
Telltale has announced The Walking Dead will release on iOS Thursday, July 26. The first episode, A New Day, will run you $4.99 on the App Store for iPad 2, the third-gen, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, and iPod fourth -gen and above. Users can also purchase the Multi-Pack for $14.99 which includes episodes 2-5. Rumor – iPhone 5 and iPad Mini to release in September

Atari mobile games exceed 10 million downloads
Atari has announced its library of mobile games has exceeding 10 million downloads across iOS and Android smartphone and tablet devices in less than a year. The milestone comes on the 40th anniversary of Atari and Pong, for which a $100,000 Pong Indie Developer Challenge contest is currently under way. Consisting of cash prizes and publishing agreements for the top 10 finalists, developers tasked with reimagining Pong for iOS devices. The top 20 semi-finalists were recently announced on May 1 and selected from nearly 90 total submissions, all moving on to compete for a spot on the finalist rankings for June 19th.

Apple Q2 financials – $39.2 billion in revenue, iPad sales up 151%
Apple has reported its Q2 2012 earnings and the firm pulled in $39.2 billion in revenue with a net profit of $11.6 billion for the quarter. The firm sold 35.1 million iPhones, sales of which were up 88% year-over-year, and sales in iPad were up 151% to 11.8 million units. Mac sales were up 7% year-over-year with 4 million moved, and iPod sales declined 7% withe 7.7 million moved for the quarter.
