Real Racing 3: “vocal minority” lashed out at micro-payments, EA believes “the market has spoken”

Real Racing 3 players have competed in 350 million races to-date

Ea has released an infographic for Real Racing 3, and since its launch on mobile February 28, it’s been the number one free app in 90 countries on the iOS Store. Players have competed in 25 million races per day, with 350 million completed to-date. This was accomplished by users spending at least 25 minutes per day with the game, with a total of 14 million hours spent racing since launch. Check out more stats below.

Gero Blaster is the next game from Cave Story developer Daisuke “Pixel” Amaya

Gero Blaster is a new title in the works from Cave Story’s Daisuke “Pixel” Amaya, who showed off the game at BitSummit in Japan this weekend. The side-scrolling shooter has players donning the persona of Kaeru, a frog, who is trying to find his kidnapped girlfriend. According to information gleaned by Nintendo Life, Nicalis will publish the iOS title, which looks to also be heading to 3DS. A release date wasn’t provided. Shadowrun Returns video contains Alpha gameplay footage

Harebrained Schemes has released Alpha footage of Shadowrun Returns, which contains a narrated walkthrough of the 2D turn-based RPG. The  fully funded Kickstarter was originally set for a January 2013 release, but has been delayed into early summer for PC, iOS and Android.
