The Merc Files is an iOS game from Tigon Studios and Gaming Corps, which includes members Starbreeze Studios and it will be made available later this week on the App Store for iOS. The Riddick game was teased by Vin Diesel last week and it ties into the film Riddick in theaters now. Players will be tasked with avoiding mercenaries out to get Riddick, according to Game Informer. The game will receive updates new levels and features post release. It’s out on September 20.

Everyone’s favourite iOS developer and notedly not the developer of Sony’s cult classic series Patapon, BEIJING Q&D TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD has just released PATAPON-Siege of WOW!, and let me tell you, WOW is right. Check out some legitimately nice looking, rainbow coloured screenshots and some intensely poorly auto translated text after the jump. This is pure gold.

4A Games has announced that their atmospheric shooter, Metro: Last Light has made its way to the Macintosh and that version is now up on Steam Play. This means that if you own the PC version, you’ve got the Mac release for free. However, being one of the most graphically intense games of the last few years, better check if you Mac can run it after the jump. A Linux version is supposedly coming soon.

Playrise Digital, headed up by ex-WipEout developer Nick Burcombe, has announced its iOS game Table Top Racing has reached one million downloads on the App Store. The large figure was hit yesterday, July 18, and Burcombe said the team is “thrilled” with what its achieved in the first six months of operation. The firm’s next title, Baby Nom Nom is up next, and there are plans to bring Table Top Racing to more platforms this autumn. The game free-to-play game with in-app purchases is available for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.

Layton Brothers Mystery Room has exceed one million downloads worldwide, according to Level-5. The iOS title was released June 27 outside of Japan for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. You can pick it up from the App Store as a free download, with Case File Pack 1 available for $2.99/€2.69/₤1.99 and Case File Pack 2 for $1.99/€1.79/₤1.49.
