E3-centric Nintendo Direct scheduled for June 11
Nintendo has announced its E3-centric Nintendo Direct presentation will air on June 11. It will air at 7am PDT/10am EDT and can be watched here. The firm will be discussing updates about future Wii U games such as the new Smash Bros., 3D Mario game, Mario Kart and other Wii U titles, according to the last Nintendo Direct which aired on May 18. The firm is holding a Nintendo Direct presentation in lieu of an E3 press event this year.

Epic Mickey 2 will be released on Vita next month
Epic Mickey 2 will be released on Vita next month, with new features making use of the handheld’s touch capabilities. It will also contain ad hoc network functionality, the ability to control paint, thinner and Oswald’s electric beam, and make use of the “orientation-based controls” for the camera and while driving. 505 Games, Overkill, and director the director of the PayDay movie, Demian Lichtenstein, have launched a teaser trailer for the live-action PayDay 2 web-series. The deries will help support the August launch of the game. Check it out below. Payday 2 will release for consoles and PC, via Steam, in August 2013.

Super Stardust spiritual successor in development for PS4
Housemarque has announced a spiritual successor to Super Stardust is in development for PS4. The firm said the console enables it to “do things that wouldn’t be possible otherwise.” According to a post on the studio’s official website, the architecture of PS4 will allow the developers “to create incredible visuals with direct impact on the way the new game feels.” The firm is also working on another unannounced project for PS4.
