BBC Sports app beta available on PlayStation Network
Sony has announced a free,beta version of the BBC Sports app is available on PlayStation Network. Listed in “My Channels” of the XMB, it will allow PS3 users to stream a large amount of BBC Sports coverage, even the big ones such as F1 racing, the London 2012 Olympics, and Wimbledon. CBS picks up Draw Something pilot
CBS has ordered a TV game show on Draw Something, after being introduced to the unscripted pilot based on the OMGpop and Zynga’s game. The project was executive produced by Ryan Seacrest and Michael Davies, and each week teams of celebrities and actual players of the game will play it before a studio audience for prize money. Viewers can also play “along at home for a chance to win prizes and compete with the celebrities.” No word on when the first episode will air, according to Deadline.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter ad to air during Champions League final tomorrow
EA will air a brand new ad for Medal of Honor: Warfighter during the Champions League final tomorrow evening. The ad will air at 8:30pm on Sky Sports 1. The Warfighter ad will go up against a new Black Ops II trailer that’ll air at an unspecified point during the final.
The Danger Close shooter launches on October 27, while Treyarch’s effort comes out on November 13.

MLB.TV coming to Xbox 360 internationally today
Microsoft’s announced the launch of MLB.TV for international audiences on Xbox 360. The service is provided by the Major League Baseball, and is already on US PS3s, but this is the first time the service has been available outside America.

Adam Sessler to no longer host X-Play, exiting G4
A representative for G4′s Adam Sessler has confirmed that the host of X-Play, and all-around nice guy, is leaving the network. Sessler’s last episode of the show will air on G4, today, April 25. Sessler has been hosting the show since it aired on ZDTV in 1998, produced a web series called Sessler’s Soapbox, and was editor-in-chief of games content at G4. His representative stated he plans to “stay in front of the camera and continue as a key voice within the games industry. He also sings, and is available for weddings and bar mitzvahs.” We wish him the best of luck and look forward to seeing what he has in store for us all. Via Kotaku.

Sony has added Amazon Instant Video to PSN, and it’s now available as an option through the video section of the XMB. The app allows users to rent and purchase various movies and television shows for a fee. Amazon Prime members will have full access based on their annual subscription.

HBO, MLB.tv, Comcast arriving on US 360s later today
Microsoft will launch HBO Go, MLB.tv and Comcast Xfinity TV as the latest TV apps for Xbox 360 in the US, according to several reports picked up by Engadget. The catchup content apps will enable you to watch shows like Entourage, Game of Thrones and others through HBO, as well as baseball on MLB. HBO was initially due to arrive on April 2, the night after the season two premiere of Game of Thrones, but that’s now been brought forward. Obviously.

Analyst: Apple iTV beginning production in May, on sale by end of year
Apple iTV will go into production from May for a launch by the end of 2012, Peter Misek of US analyst firm Jefferies has said.
