Bethesda has registered a trademark with the USPTO for “an on-going television program set in a post-nuclear apocalyptic world.” Fallout anyone? Note the word in the link there. The registration comes just a week after ThreeDog voice actor Erik Todd Dellums tweeted there may be more “of the Dog coming,” tweeting later he was “given permission to release that tease, so fingers crossed.” Speculation started running all over the place that a movie adaption was set for an announcement, or that Fallout 4 is in the works. G4 will be turned into the Esquire Channel during the first half of 2013, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Owners NBCUniversal and Hearst will use the channel to court the untapped “metrosexual” demographic with shows devoted to “cooking, travel and fashion,” and some gaming-centric offerings as well. G4 staples Attack of the Show and X-Play have been cancelled, and will no longer air past the end of 2012.

Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter really wanted to turn his show into a game. Like, really. Recently he’s been pitching Rockstar and FOX to make his dream come true, but nobody was buying the pitch. So unfortunately for series fans, it’s not happening, he says.

Sony has announced a free,beta version of the BBC Sports app is available on PlayStation Network. Listed in “My Channels” of the XMB, it will allow PS3 users to stream a large amount of BBC Sports coverage, even the big ones such as F1 racing, the London 2012 Olympics, and Wimbledon. CBS has ordered a TV game show on Draw Something, after being introduced to the unscripted pilot based on the OMGpop and Zynga’s game. The project was executive produced by Ryan Seacrest and Michael Davies, and each week teams of celebrities and actual players of the game will play it before a studio audience for prize money. Viewers can also play “along at home for a chance to win prizes and compete with the celebrities.” No word on when the first episode will air, according to Deadline.

Trion Worlds and Syfy have released a short documentary video detailing Defiance, which is both an online shooter and science fiction drama set 35 years into the future.

EA will air a brand new ad for Medal of Honor: Warfighter during the Champions League final tomorrow evening. The ad will air at 8:30pm on Sky Sports 1. The Warfighter ad will go up against a new Black Ops II trailer that’ll air at an unspecified point during the final.

Starting today, Xbox Live Gold members who are also Time Warner Cable and Bright House customers will be able to access HBO GO through the console. Those in the US can now watch the entire HBO catalogue of live and on demand original content from newer shows such as Game of Thrones to old favorites like The Sopranos. Rumor has it Apple has made a $112 million offer to LCD TV manufacturer Loewe AG. If true, the acquisition would pave the way for Apple to become even more omnipresent the electronics and tech departments. Develop’s calls to Loewe AG on the matter resulted in representatives for the firm hanging up when asked about the rumor.

Microsoft’s announced the launch of MLB.TV for international audiences on Xbox 360. The service is provided by the Major League Baseball, and is already on US PS3s, but this is the first time the service has been available outside America.
