After you’ve made Tokyo Jungle, you make this: Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day, a collaboration between Crispy and Goichi Suda and part of a film project based on Katsuhiro Otomo’s Short Peace manga. This Tokyo Game Show trailer is our second look at the game following a debut effort, and gives a better look at the unique “high speed effect action” gameplay. A PlayStation 3 exclusive, it’s due in Japan in January and has not been confirmed for the west.

Games Radar is reporting that they have been told by Namco that the upcoming HD verison of Soul Calibur II, currently slated for PSN and Xbox Live, could be ported to Wii U if they think there is enough demand. They also said fans can demonstrate demand by bugging @hoshino_calibur about it on Twitter. Just, like, don’t threaten him.

Game Informah had a chat with Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima at TGS, and a lot of what he has to say are things we’ve heard before. They did, thankfully, ask him what he thinks of Hayter’s rather bitter reaction to being supplanted in favor of Kiefer Sutherland. His answer is… surprising.

Square Enix is bringing Final Fantasy Agito, a parallel tale to the PSP’s Type-0, to mobile devices in Japan this year, and as you would expect from a Square Enix mobile JRPG it look pretty legit. Video inside.

Naoki Yoshida, director on the Final Fantasy XIV reboot, gave a presentation at TGS yesterday in which he discussed the game’s upcoming 2.1 update, which seems as if it will be significant, adding player housing and 4v4 arena PvP.

Konami did a live demo of a Metal Gear Solid 5 mission at TGS (not a real mission, but it does take place in a real game location), running on PS4 and showing off the Fox Engine’s ability to render sunlight. Check inside for the video.

La-Mulana 2 was announced during TGS 2013 today for PC, Joystiq reports. The team on the ground took a shot of the logo, and says the game will star the daughter of Lemeza Kosugi – the original’s protagonist. A short gameplay video was shown by Nigoro’s Takumi Naramura, showing a bit of a Norse themed world. The game is slated for release in 2014.

Crimson Dragon, which was announced as Project Draco during TGS 2011, was originally a Kinect title for Xbox 360 but according to Yukio Futatsugi, Microsoft cancelled the original in order to for it to be reworked for an Xbox One launch title.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be published in Japan by Spike Chunsoft, CD Projekt RED has announced. The firm also published The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for Xbox 360 in the Japanese market. Spike Chunsoft will publish both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions upon release in 2014, with the firm’s Satoru Honma stating the game will help “redefine the western RPG for Japanese gamers.” The Witcher 3 hits PC, PS4 and Xbox One sometime next year. The TGS 2013 video is below. We think it’s old but, it’s got Geralt in it, so watch it anyway.
