Shadowrun Returns PAX presentation highlight video released
The Shadowrun Returns PAX presentation is now available for viewing online. It’s below. The video is mainly highlights from the panel in which Harebrained Schemes discussed the RPG, which earned $1,836,447 in funding through Kickstarter. XCOM: Enemy Unknown PAX panel – “A Thousand Stupid Ideas on the Road to Glory”
XCOM: Enemy Unknown was at PAX, and if you missed out on the panel conducted by Firaxis, it’s posted below. The video is titled: “A Thousand Stupid Ideas on the Road to Glory,” and in it the four leads discuss the development process and some of the ideas which didn’t make it into the game. God of War: Ascension panel highlights from PAX Prime released
The God of War: Ascension panel from PAX Prime has been released by Sony on highlight video form. Panelists include: Mark Simon – lead designer, Patrick Murphy – principal character artist, Marianne Krawczyk – writer of the God of War series, and Todd Papy – game director. God of War: Ascension will release March 12 in North America, March 13 in Europe, March 14 in Australia and New Zealand, and March 15 in the UK.

WarZ gameplay looks like it was grabbed from a zombie survival title
Some WarZ footage popped out of PAX, showing the DayZ competitor looking a bit like a slower take on the whole survive-in-the-zombie-apocalypse-again thing. There’s little more to say. You walk round a wood trying not to die. If you haven’t completely, totally and utterly had enough of zombies at this point, you can look forward to an autumn launch.

Shootmania Storm modes Royal and Elite will be free
Shootmania Storm will have two free modes available at launch: Royal and Elite. Royal tasks players will gaining control over a map point in a free-for-all, and Elite will see two teams of players defending and attacking their opponent’s base. Ubisoft has released a trailer which shows the modes, and it’s posted below. The online FPS from Nadeo will allow players to create, edit and share maps when it releases exclusively on PC later this year.

PAX 2013 to last an extra day, event heading to Australia
PAX is coming to Australia next year, Penny Arcade’s Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins confirmed today. It was also announced PAX Prime would last for four days instead of three next year. The Penny Arcade fellas are also considering a UK event as well, but there is nothing to announce on that end at present. Thanks Joystiq.

Scribblenauts Unlimited to launch with Steam Workshop on PC
Scribblenauts Unlimited will launch with Steam Workshop on PC, 5th Cell announced today at PAX. A pre-show demonstration of the game detailed how players will be able to create objected, and the keyboard and mouse controls were also demoed. At present, the PC version supports WASD movement as well as click-to-move control with the mouse. The Steam version will feature Steam achievements and sharing through Steam Workshop. 5th Cell said over 300 puzzles will be included in the game, over 100,000 words and adjectives, and the Object Editor. Scribblenauts Unlimited is slated for release on 3DS, PC, and Wii U later this year. Via Polygon.
