Mass Effect 3: PAX hands-on video, Mass Effect Universe art book announced
Bioware and Darkhorse have announced The Art of the Mass Effect Universe, which is a large hardcover collectors’ volume featuring Mass Effect 3 concept art, and other graphical aspects to the game.

Valve releases six CS:GO screenshots from PAX – look
Valve has released some nice screenshots of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to go along with yesterday’s video. A beta for the game starts in October, and those attending PAX and the upcoming Eurogamer Expo will be handed codes. Upon release in early 2012, the game will be made available for Mac, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Mass Effect 3 screens get out of PAX
Bioware has released a few Mass Effect 3 screens, which are posted below. A couple may look slightly familiar, but that is only because the shot was taken from a somewhat different angle. Mass Effect 3 is out on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in March 2012.

OnLive handing out its game system for free at PAX this weekend
OnLive has announced that anyone who stops by its booth at PAX Prime this weekend, and provides staff with their OnLive gamertag will be handed a free OnLive gaming system. Final Fantasy XIII-2 gets new cinematic PAX trailer – watch
Square’s released a brand new trailer of Final Fantasy XIII-2 ahead of PAX attendees getting their hands on the game at the event this weekend in Seattle. There’s new cut-scenes not shown before, as well as footage of the Moogle in action for the first time, and a sighting of the dude that appeared in the first teaser trailer alongside Lightning in January. Final Fantasy XIII-2 launches next January for PS3 and 360 in the US. Early 2012 is all thats been confirmed by Square Enix Europe. Thanks, Erren.

Ubisoft bringing Might & Magic, Revelations, Rayman, Rocksmith, more to PAX
Ubisoft has announced the line-up of games it will be bringing to PAX Prime with it next weekend. It has also revealed an Assassins’ Creed panel and pre-order incentives for the fan event as well.

Report: Sonic CD XBLA port to be announced at PAX
Sega’s set to announce an Xbox Live Arcade port of Sonic CD at PAX this weekend, according to a Major Nelson post which mentions what games will be at the event. Nothing has been announced on it so far formally, but it will be at Xbox’s Booth 432 as a playable title. Sega said that it’ll be “sharing some more information soon.”

Capcom’s announced its full line-up for PAX, announcing it’s bringing Street Fighter x Tekken, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Street Fighter III: Third Strike – Online Edition, Street Fighter IV: Volt for iOS, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, Resident Evil: Revelations, Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, Dragon’s Dogma and Asura’s Wrath. PAX Prime passes selling out
Penny Arcade’s said on Twitter that only 400 passes are available for the Friday of PAX Prime, with only “a battery” of Sunday passes left. It comes as three day-passes and Saturday passes have all been sold out. If you’re going, you can get whatever remaining amount of tickets there is left here.
