Heavy Rain moves 1.5 million units

David Cage is hoping Heavy Rain will manage to sell 2 million units this year, after revealing it’s already sold 1.5 million since launch.

Video – The Secret World teaser from GDC

Funcom was kind enough to show us The Secret World at GDC, and you can get a taste of what we saw via the teaser video below the break.
It’s definitely a interesting premise, and a massive undertaking for Funcom. While it may seem a bit strange to have all these different denizens from our nightmares and horror films walking around in an MMO, there is a method to the developer’s madness.
Although what that is, they refused to tell us. Funcom is saving that as part of the plot that eventually unfolds as you play the game.
No date yet, so just continue to hang tight. Meanwhile, watch the teaser, and check out screens and what we saw during the opening sequence here.

New Lara Croft is “not a Tomb Raider game”, says producer

During GDC, Crystal Dynamics’ brand director Karl Stewart and producer Forest Large showed us a bit of Lara Croft, which does not take place in any time line contained within the Tomb Raider series.
