Games Convention Online is no more
Previously known as The Leipzig Games Convention and Europe’s one-time largest games event, the trade-only GCO has been forced to shut its doors, citing a ‘lack of funding’.

Games Convention Online goes trade-only
Leipziger Messe has announced that Games Convention Online will now be a trade-only event, with no public allowed at it.

Co-op’s the name of the game in the new Lara Croft
Crystal Dynamics was kind enough to show off a bit of Lara Croft to VG247 today, and it looks like a neat arcade game you and a pal can play together and have a bit of fun.

Games Convention Online gets 2010 date
Next year’s Games Convention Online will take place from July 8-11, 2010, Develop reports. Last year’s show attracted 43,000 visitors.
Remember, this is the bastard child of the once mighty Leipzig Games Convention, and now focusses, rather obviously, on online gaming.
The main German – and European – show is now Gamescom in Cologne. As you know. Unless you’ve been blind for the past year. Gamescom’s been confirmed for August 18-22 in 2010.
