GamesAid Cycle Challenge – Cat and co in video drama
NCsoft’s Cat Channon and seven other games trade bods cycled from gamescom to Brighton last month, covering over 500km. You can watch a PlayStation Access documentary of it below. The gruelling charity effort raised over £10,000 for GamesAid, leaving a broken, happy team on Brighton beach after three days in the saddle. You can donate here, if you haven’t already.

Ratchet & Clank: Q-Force video shows a bit of story, gameplay
Ratchet & Clank: Q-Force is coming to a retailer near you this fall, and to get you excited, Sony has released the gamescom trailer for Insomniac’s latest. The game is known as Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault in the US, and it contains Cross-Play between the PS3 and Vita versions, and is one of Sony’s Cross-Buy titles.

Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth video escapes gamescom
A new trailer from gamescom showing off Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth has been released by Ubisoft. It’s below, courtesy of G4. Battle for Planet Earth includes 20 Marvel characters, each with four moves, and combat is entirely motion controlled whether playing in co-op, campaign, arcade, challenge, versus or tournament modes. Progress unlocks new outfits and collector cards. Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth will release for Kinect in northern autumn, and the Wii U version releases sometime during the console’s launch window.

Silent Hill: Book of Memories screens show co-op, multiplayer
Silent Hill: Book of Memories is the latest title to have screenshots released for it. Konami issued the set during gamescom this week. The Vita exclusive contains co-op and online multiplayer for 1-4 friends. It also features new and classic monsters from previous Silent Hill games, and players can customize thier character’s look and personality. Silent Hill: Book of Memories is slated for a fall release, with many retailers pointing it for October.
