David Jaffe has responded to questions on his next project from Game City in Nottingham by telling an assembled crowd to “fuck off.”

“We haven’t announced anything yet,” he said when asked if he was working on Twisted Metal for PS3.

“Now FUCK OFF.”

The missive was relayed by text message after audio failed during a remote session at the UK event.

Some questions did get answered without expletives. He’s lost interest in GTA, apparently, and if your team doesn’t end up hating you a bit by the end of a project you’re probably not doing your job right.

Media Molecule’s to deliver GameCity’s Vision Statement this year.

“We’re deeply excited that Media Molecule have agreed to deliver this years headline. The Vision statement was conceived as an event that delivers a unique insight from the most innovative voices in the industry, so having the creators of LittleBigPlanet here reinforces that reputation hugely,” said GameCity director Iain Simons.

“The first GameCity festival was actually Media Molecule’s very first public appearance, so we’re thrilled to be able to return now having shipped LittleBigPlanet”, added MM boss Alex Evans.

“For us, GameCity is a rare opportunity to really interact and meet with the people who play – and in LBP’s case, help to create our games.”

GameCity 3, according to the event’s site, will run from October 30 to November 1 this year.

The Nottingham, UK, festival is one of the few British games events left, so do your bit and support it. As the site says, “It’s going to be brilliant.”
