Uncharted 2 has sold over 3.5 million units worldwide

Earlier in the month when January’s NPD’s were revealed, SCEA’s Jack Tretton mentioned that Uncharted 2 had almost reached the 3 million units sold mark.

Well, now it has surpassed that grand figure, having moved over 3.5 million units worldwide.

Watch Bobby Kotick’s D.I.C.E. speech

You all know by now that Activision CEO Bobby Kotick was at DICE yesterday and gave a speech chatting about his start in the gaming business, how he regrets not purchasing Harmonix, and how his “taking all the fun out of games” comment was taken out of context.

Kotick also chatted a bit about how gaming could easily become an addiction for him.

Now, you can watch the full speech for yourself below the break, courtesy of G4, and he doesn’t seem to come off as Darth Vader in it either.

Maybe just a cross between Darth Revan and Chad Vader.

Next Assassin’s Creed has a “narrative justification” for the multiplayer

Naughty Dog designer added to speaker list for DICE 2010

Richard Lemarchand, game designer for Naughty Dog, has been confirmed as a speaker at the DICE Summit which takes place February 17-19, 2010 in Las Vegas.

Manveer Heir, lead designer at Raven Software, Zynga Games chief creative officer Brian Reynolds, and Mike Yuen, Zeebo senior VP of content and services, are also confirmed.

Other speakers are Steve Perlman, founder, president and CEO of OnLive, and Matias Myllrinne, president of Remedy Entertainment.

OnLive boss confirmed for February DICE

OnLive. Remember that? Boss of the Cloud service, Steve Perlman, has now been confirmed for a DICE presentation in Las Vegas next February.

OnLive’s in beta at the moment, but an appearance early next year may be an indicator that we’re about to see something solid.

It might not, obviously.
