343 Industries and Microsoft released a new video walkthrough of the E3 demo for Halo CE Anniversary during Comic-Con. In it, executive producer Dan Ayoub discusses Classic Mode which will allow players to switch between classic Halo CE visuals and updated graphics. It looks pretty easy to do, and you will notice quite a difference between the original graphics and the updates ones. You can watch the video below, courtesy of Machinima. Capcom confirmed during Comic-Con that the Resident Evil 15th anniversary HD updates of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica X will land in the US. RE4 HD will land on September 20, while Code: Veronica X releases on September 27. Both games will be made available at retailers and through PSN and 360′s Games on Demand Service. A boxset featuring both titles plus PS1 versions of  RE1-3 hits Japan on September 8. Thanks, Gamespot.

What would Comic-Con be without Batman? The Dark Knight’s next flying side-kick into the world of gaming will, of course, be making waves (of drool, most likely) on the show floor – but Entertainment Weekly beat the game’s panel to the punch. According to the outlet, Talia al Ghul – daughter of notorious villain Ra’s al Ghul and eventual mother to Batman’s child – will be making an appearance in the game. Better still, she’ll be voiced by Stana Katic, aka Kate Beckett on Nathan Fillion’s Detective Adventur– er, Castle. At any rate, it seems like every day brings a new “Guess who’s in Arkham City” announcement, so we can only imagine who’s next. Don’t worry, Calendar Man. We’re still pulling for you.

Sorry, hardcore gamers. This probably isn’t the Star Wars game you’re looking for. Does that necessarily mean it’ll be bad? Of course not. But LucasArts and Microsoft made no bones about their aim during Kinect Star Wars’ Comic-Con panel: this one’s for “families and kids.”

It’s official: Poison, Steve Fox and Yoshimitsu will be playable characters in Street Fighter x Tekken. NCSoft’s announced it’s to show brand new content for City of Heroes, including the first chance to play the new IIncarnate Raids in the MMO. It’ll also be showing Guild Wars 2′s Engineer class as well during the event. There’ll also be a meet-and-greet with the NCSoft massive in San Diego this week. All of this will be a taster before the main course is served in Cologne at gamescom in three-and-a-half weeks.
