Castle Crashers coming to PS3
According to this Gamespot report, Behemoth’s Castle Crashers will be launching on PS3 later this year.
The game, a hugely successful Live affair, has been 360-exclusive so far.

Cliff Bleszinski looking forward to Gears Universe panel at Comic Con

Cliff Bleszinki has revealed that there will be a Gears Universe panel at Comic Con later this week and joining him will be executive producer Rod Fergusson, writer Josh Ortega, Josh Morgan (movie script writer) and film director Len Weisman.
“It’s gonna be hosted by Adam Sessler from P4,” the artist formerly known as Cliffy B tells Major Nelson. “We’re just gonna hang out, shoot the shit about about the franchise, and talk about the future.
“There’s a couple of titbits about the movie and future plans for everything. That’s gonna be fun, that’s gonna be big and exciting,” he said.

Capcom releases Comic-Con schedule, looks like fun

Capcom has released its schedule along with a list of treats it will be providing to attendees at Comic-Con next week.
There will be tournaments, the Japanese game developers and loads more.
Here’s the list:

LucasArts to reveal “exclusive Star Wars announcements” at Comic-Con

Comic-Con is seriously looking like the place to be next week, what with LucasArts announcing that it will be there showing off loads of stuff along with “several world exclusive announcements at the Star Wars Spectacular keynote on Friday”.
Those in attendance can expect: Hands-on time with Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes and LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues, an Old Republic mini-comic and The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition signings, trailer showings, and The Old Republic Panel.
We will be covering this from our comfy desk chairs at home, damn it, so be sure check in with us while it’s on-going.

SEGA to show Bayonetta at Comic-Con with live-action model

SEGA will be showing off Bayonetta during Comic-Con July 23-26, and producer Yusuke Hashimoto and lead character designer Mari Shimazaki will host a panel titled “The Making of Bayonetta” on July 24.
That’s not all, either.
A live-action model will be present and to top things off, a Bayonetta coslpay contest will be taking place.
Should be interesting to see those pictures.

South Park XBLA game to be revealed at Comic-Con

During E3 2008, Microsoft revealed a South Park Xbox Live arcade game and neither hide nor hair has been seen from it since.
Enter Comic-Con, where the game will be shown by Microsoft along with Alan Wake, Gears of War 2: Dark Corners, Halo 3: ODST, Left 4 Dead 2, Shadow Complex, The Beatles: Rock Band and a new trailer for Splinter Cell: Conviction.
The reveal for all will take place July 23.

Valve to reveal second campaign for L4D2 at Comic-Con

Valve has sent us over a lovely email announcing that Left 4 Dead 2 will be shown and playable during Comic-Con in San Diego.
Not only that, but attendees will get a chance to see Swamp Fever first-hand when it is unveiled.
Along with this second of five campaigns being revealed, Valve is also planning to unveil a few more of the 20-plus new items included in the game.
Game’s out in November for Xbox 360 and PC.

Uncharted 2, Ratchet & Clank appearing at Comic Con

Sony’s confirmed its wares for the San Diego Comic Con later this month, and it consists of panel discussions on Uncharted 2 and Ratchet & Clank.
There’s a community event on the latter, as well.
