PlayStation 4 digital titles have come under scrutiny this week, starting with EA titles FIFA 14, Battlefield 4 and Need for Speed: Rivals each selling for £63 a pop. Sony has now stepped forward to explain why its own titles Knack and Killzone: Shadow Fall cost £53 on the store.

Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD arrives as a digital title for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in January 2014, and today, Ubisoft has announced the game will arrive on all formats, January 15. The game first popped up in September on a Chinese forum with a screencap of the game’s logo before being confirmed rather quickly by Sony and Ubisoft. DUST 514′s Uprising update 1.7 arrives on December 10, and CCP has posted a developer dairy introducing the Combat Rifle and the Rail Rifle for the Minmatar and Caldari factions, respectively. These new weapons join the Gallente Assault Rifl and Amarr Scrambler Rifle, rounding out the first set of racially aligned weaponry as each race favors a particular weapon archetype. Terraria, the side-scrolling 2D sandbox adventure, will be released on PlayStation Vita December 4 by 505 Games. The game was originally slated for release sometime in the summer. Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions will arrive on PlayStation Network next week. The announcement stems from the latest PlayStation Blogcast. The ESRB rated the content for PSP, PlayStation 3 and Vita back in July. Known in Europe as Special Missions, the 1999 collection contains challenges bundled with the re-release of Metal Gear Solid in Japan and was sold as an add-on disc elsewhere. Injustice: Gods Among Us is now available for Android devices through Google Play and will soon be made available on the Amazon Appstore. The free-to-play title was released earlier this year for iOS. Those who also own the PS3 or Xbox 360 version will be able to unlock content in the console game through the mobile version – and vice versa – by registering for a Warner Bros. ID account. Daily Challenges are now available for Spelunky on PS3 and Vita. The challenges are already available for the PC version. Each day, a set of levels is generated that has the same seed for everyone playing it, according to Mossmouth. You only get once chance to play the Daily — if you die, you can try it again 24 hours later. The game has also been updated with various bug fixes and optimizations on the console.
