Rumor – Black Ops 2 reveal coming in two weeks
A retail source has sent Kotaku an image of teaser poster which is purportedly some sort of save the date deal for Black Ops 2. The date on the poster is for May 2 where it states to come back for a “debriefing.” Note the Treyarch and Activision logos on the poster. If legitimate, it means more news on the next Call of Duty game will be revealed in the next couple of weeks. We’ll send a mail to Activision on this, but we don’t expect the firm to confirm anything until it’s ready. Here’s a larger picture of the promo (thanks, AHA-Lambda).

Rumor – Microsoft has plans “to further monetize” Xbox Live for holiday 2012
If the LinkedIn profile for Microsoft’s group product planner Praveen Rutnam is any indication, the firm is to implement a strategy which will “further monetize” the Xbox Live subscriber base “for holiday 2012.” Granted, this could mean anything from more paid-content options such as the recently added HBO Go, or as Joystiq points out, the firm could be finally doing away with MS Points – although that rumor was later refuted by Microsoft Switzerland. It could be anything, really, even different payment options or point cards, therefore, we’ll send a mail. Via Supererogatory.

Report – Apple CEO Tim Cook pays Valve a visit, the Internet salivates
According to a report on Apple Insider, Apple CEO Tim Cook paid a visit to Valve headquarters today in Washington, and suggests he and the firm’s Gabe Newell could be cooking something up. These leads many to speculate numerous reasons for such a visit and what the duo could be discussing, such as the “input, output, and platform hardware” Valve is currently hiring for, maybe even the possibility of Steam integration with AppleTV. Then again, it could have just been a friendly visit. Put your speculation hats on and start guessing. Thanks, Kotaku.

Rumor – Wii U to release on November 18 in North America
If some leaked correspondence from a GameStop manager can be taken as truth, it looks as though Wii U may release on November 18. While not confirmed by any means, it would make a it of sense considering Nintendo’s penchant for Sunday release dates, as well as the fact the last two consoles also released in November. This new bit of information follows earlier rumors this week which had it pegged for November 19. Still keep this under your hat as a rumor for now until Nintendo announces a firm release date.
